West Coast Amber Valley Community with Amy Broady midwife(front right) and East Coast Willow Grove community were the focus of this year's Canada Black History Stamps. I was selected to illustrate for my folk art approach. I enjoyed painting the portrait of Ms.Broady holding newborn especially. Simplified elegance holding infant as core of the community with early settlement and culture about.

Black History Month Stamp Project 2020
